The driver’s Renault Mégane crashed near Grouville Parish Hall at about 8.45pm on Friday. The road was closed until 1.20am while emergency services attended.
The man was taken to hospital shortly afterwards. A spokesperson has now confirmed that the patient has been transferred to a hospital in the UK. A condition check was unavailable.
The States confirmed that he had ‘life changing’ but not life-threatening injuries.
